We need volunteers to chair the following committees and board roles: 1. 1st Vice President: This person will assume the position as president for the following school year (2012-2013) and is a member of the executive board 2. VP Treasurer: This person will assume the position as treasurer for the following school year, after working closely with the current years treasurer. This enables the transition to go smoothly. 3. School Store: coming soon 4. Teacher Appreciation: The Teacher Appreciation Committee at Conn Elementary School has the wonderful opportunity to coordinate events that demonstrate our appreciation to the incredible staff at the school. This committee spearheads monthly staff meeting snacks, luncheons, and Educator Appreciation Week. Anyone who values the contribution that the teachers and staff offer the children would love to be a part of this committee. 5. Yearbook (1 or more co-chairs needed): This person(s) works throughout the year with the students’ Yearbook Committee designing the yearbook, as well as collecting pictures from the teachers. 6. Room Parent Coordinator Grades 3-5: Help recruit room parents for every class and train them on assisting the teacher 7. Green Team Co-Chair: Coordinate work Saturdays to help beautify the Conn grounds with other parents and students |
