CONNival is for all families with current student(s) at Conn! Children must be accompanied by a supervising adult. Due to the gracious support of our CONNmunity, PTA's CONNival is FREE to all families with a currently enrolled student. Rising 2026-27 kindergarten families are welcome to attend!  

This long-standing tradition features carnival games, inflatables/bounce houses, DJ music, arts and crafts, teacher experience raffle, food trucks, and more! The 2nd annual CONNtrepeneur Market will feature students' creations from Big Idea Week in the spirit of our school's entrepreneurship magnet theme.

CONNival is completely volunteer run. Please consider signing up for one 45-minute shift. If we are not able to secure enough volunteers, we may have to shut down attractions at the event. Sign up for a volunteer spot to ensure a safe and fun experience for all. For every volunteer shift that you sign up for, you will receive free CONNival Cash to redeem at the teacher experience raffle and CONNtrepeneur Market!

1 CONNival Cash ticket = 1 teacher experience raffle entry = $1 at CONNtrepreneur Market (prices are $1-$3). Only CONNival Cash tickets will be used at the teacher experience raffle and CONNtrepreneur Market; cash will not be accepted. 

Pre-ordered CONNival Cash tickets will be pre-labeled and available for pick-up at the event. Pre-ordered tickets are strongly encouraged so you and your child spend more time playing than waiting.

CONNival Cash tickets will be available for purchase at the event. When purchasing CONNival Cash at the event, you will be asked to write your child's name, an adult's phone number, and an adult's email address legibly.  If we cannot read your handwriting, your CONNival Cash ticket(s) will be forfeited. 

Day-of payment options at the CONNival Cash booth include:

• Cash ($1 dollar bills are preferred)

• Paypal and *possibly Venmo*

• Credit card or debit card via the online Givebacks platform (includes a small processing fee)

Last year, we introduced the CONNtrepeneur Market, where Conn students made and sold their creations. It was a huge hit! We are building off that success with an even bigger and better market, alongside Mr. Gridley who's building the entrepreneurial design magnet cirriculum with YOUR student at Conn! By incorporating Conn's Big Idea Week this year, all students at Conn get the opportunity to participate in the CONNtrepreneur Market.

Parking + Entrance: All families are encouraged to walk or bike to CONNival, if possible. Please enter and exit through the carpool lane to enter and exit the playground/track where CONNival takes place.

Weather/Rain: If the weather does not cooperate, CONNival will be moved to the gym. If this is the case, please enter through the cafteria doors (not the main office doors). A greeter will direct you to the doors.
