The overall purpose of the PTA is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. PTA's Conn Cares Committee works closely with Conn's Student Services Team to ensure ALL students receive basic necessities such as clothing and school suppplies for a successful education, regardless of their background. Classroom snack bins stay full, students receive breakfast and lunch, have their own water bottles and weather appropriate clothing, and so much more! Learn more!

Conn PTA is expanding student club offerings for the 2026-2027 school year! Last year we offered Basketball Club, Run Club, Battle of the Books and Crafternoon Club. Learn more!
Conn PTA hosts performances and artists that celebrate creativity and connection for our students. A few from last year included Living Rhythms and Batik with artist Leni Newell. Learn more!
We promote family engagement by coordinating volunteer opportunities at Conn ES. Conn PTA creates signups for parents, older siblings, grandparents, neighbors, or any child advocate -- any WCPSS approved adult -- to volunteer in the classroom, lunch room, media center, or at a school- or PTA-sponsored event. Conn PTA raises money to offer Classroom Startup Funds and Mini Grants to teachers, as well as stipends to specialist teachers and special education. Learn more!
PTA's hospitality team works year-round to shower our entire CONNmunity team of teachers, staff, and admin with love and appreciation. The team works closely with the school's Illumination Committee to help teachers recognize their colleagues and boost morale. Happy teachers make for happy students! Learn more!

Conn PTA's Literacy Committee promotes a love of reading among Conn students by coordinating Conn's annual Scholastic Book Fair, book drives, and guest author visits throughout the school year. Learn more!

Bike and Walk to School Days
KinderCONN is a series of summer playgroup events designed to help rising Conn kindergartners and their families make friends, ask questions and build CONN-munity before the official start of the school year.
