The Conn Cougar Run Club is a before-school program designed to help students build strength, confidence, and a love for running! Through fun workouts, games, and teamwork, students learn the importance of perseverance, goal setting, and staying active. Our mission is to inspire healthy habits and community spirit—on and off the track.

Next Session: The second session begins February 4th and will prepare students for the Conn Cougar 5K on March 7th.
In the 1930’s Battle of the Books (Bob) was a Chicago radio program. Today it is a reading incentive program in elementary, middle and high schools across the country. All of the questions in the competition begin with the words “In which book” and the correct answer is always the title and author of the book.
Each week, students and teachers meet for an hour with Ms. Lankford (1st) and Ms. Rigsbee (4th) to discuss the books on the current list and figure out questions to ask. After questions are formed and titles and authors are memorized, students practice battling against each other! The BoB CONN-petition will be held March 25, 2026.

Meetings: Wednesdays 8:00-8:45a, starting Nov. 5. Please be sure your student arrives on time, as we will not be able to monitor the front entrance once we have moved to our meeting location.
