PTA's Conn Cares Committee works closely with Conn's Student Support Team to ensure ALL students receive the resources necessary for a successful education, regardless of their background.
At the beginning of the year, the support team sends out a family needs assessment to plan for the school year and how to best address the needs of our school community for the upcoming school year.
Classroom snack bins stay full, students receive breakfast and lunch, have their own water bottles and weather appropriate clothing, and so much more!
Donate/purchase essential items for Conn students in need: Conn's Student Services has created a wish list for generous parents to send items like clothes, shoes, socks, water bottles and more directly to Ms. Jermyn's office.
Only have a little amount of time to give? Help us make a BIG impact with backpack buddies!
Volunteers are needed every Wednesday between 12-1p to pick up and deliver food for our schools “Backpack Buddies” program.
BackPack Buddies is designed to provide children experiencing food insecurity with nutritious, kid-friendly, pre-packed meals for the weekend—when they would not have access to a school’s free lunch and breakfast.
As of Feburary 2025,
During the busy holiday season, generous Conn families donated over 60 $25 gift cards to our annual Giving Tree!
Thank you ALL for helping make the holiday season magical for all of our students!
Every year, PTA ensures all that food-insecure families at Conn enjoy a Thanksgiving meal. In 2024, Conn families worked with their local Y Guides troop to provide over 60 meals including whole turkeys!
