How to Become a Volunteer

All parents or community members interested in volunteering on any WCPSS campus (not just at Conn ES) must be approved by WCPSS every year. The application involves passing criminal history and sexual offender registry checks, and all volunteers must comply with WCPSS Board Policy 5020: Visitors to the School. Conn admin will not allow you to volunteer if your name is not listed in the the WCPSS approved volunteer database.

All parents or community members interested in volunteering with students must attend Conn's volunteer training session every year. All volunteers, even those who attended last year, must attend one of these sessions.  This mandatory volunteer training is in addition to WCPSS' mandatory volunteer approval (above).
