Teacher Appreciation Week
May 6 – May 10 is Teacher Appreciation Week at Conn! Please help us celebrate our amazing teachers, assistants, and specialist teachers by participating in one or more of the days listed below (all are optional). Thank you in advance for your support!
Monday, May 6: “It’s no supplies you’re an awesome teacher!”
Surprise your teachers by sending in any supplies they may need.
Some ideas are colored dry erase markers, post-it notes, flair pens, Clorox wipes, printer paper, etc.
Tuesday, May 7: “If you were a flower, I’d pick you!”
Bring flowers to your teachers, assistants, and specialists to show your appreciation.
The PTA will have some outside the front doors of school for those who cannot bring them from home.
Wednesday, May 8: “Teachers are noteworthy.”
Write your teacher, instructional assistant, and/or specialist a note to let them know how much you appreciate them!
Use the “Happy Teacher Appreciation Week” fill in the blank template (see below) or use your creativity.
Thursday, May 9: Chalk the walk and the gift of time!
Gift of time by helping to fill all volunteer spots at school today. SIGN UP
Conn PTA will have chalk for students on sidewalks around Conn; write a note to teachers and staff during recess or before school.
Friday, May 10: Let’s shower our teachers with gift cards!
Show your appreciation by sending in a gift card in any amount or make an online donation using GiftCrowd.

GiftCrowd is an easy, free, and virtual way for families to show appreciation to Conn’s teachers and staff. All money collected through GiftCrowd will be split equally between teachers, instructional assistants and specialist teachers. Friday afternoon all teachers, instructional assistants, and specialist teachers will receive an email with the divided monetary amount collected and a list of stores such as Target and Amazon that they can receive a gift card from!
The deadline to make a donation is Friday, May 10 at 3:45pm
The total amount collected through GiftCrowd is divided equally; you cannot direct your donation to a specific teacher
